Wow!  What an amazing week!

First of all, thank you, thank you, thank you!  

I am overwhelmed by your generosity this week for Teacher Appreciation Week.  From the decorated door, to the games, to the reMARKable pens & precious notes, to the much needed cleaning supplies (!!)...what wonderful treats!  Also a big thank you to Rachel for coordinating and all her helpers!


a few tidbits...
*The variety show on Thursday lived up to its building excitement!  We are so proud of our violinist, Harry Cornell, for performing in front of the entire school.  :)  Nice job, Harry!

*Wizard Walk forms are due TOMORROW!

*save the date...we will be having our 1st grade picnic at John Collins Park on Wednesday, June 4th, from 11:30-12:30.  Please pack a sack lunch for your child that day.  We will be walking to the park together (all three first grades).  If you would like to meet us there, we would love to have you!  More details coming as time gets closer...

One last picture...thanks to Tess (who was on monarch watch) on Thursday, we were able to see our second monarch emerge from its chrysalis!  Here is what it looked like right before the butterfly stage:
