End of the Year Calendar!  If you are like me, it is a lot easier to see everything in one place.  I am hoping that I have all of the major events below.  With only four weeks left, we have to pack in all in :).  Please let me know if there is something that I am missing!

May 15th (Thursday)...Wizard Walk (1:30pm) & Family Fun Night (5pm)...and Jan's birthday!
May 16th (Friday)... Field Day (8:30am for 1st and 2nd graders)

May 21st (Wednesday)...Claire's birthday!
May 23rd (Friday)...Floyd Cooper, illustrator, visiting our school (assembly in the morning)

May 26th...No school, Memorial Day...and Evan's birthday!
May 28th (Wednesday)...LBW race @ the high school track, 4:30pm
May 30th (Friday)...Locks of Love (11:30am) & First Grade Finale @ 2:30-3:15pm

June 4th (Wednesday)...First Grade Picnic @ John Collins Park, 11:30am
June 5th (Thursday)...Year End Assembly (2pm)
June 6th (Friday)...Last Day of School, dismissal at 11:27am

If your child has a summer birthday and HAS NOT celebrated it yet (and would like to), please let me know as soon as you can so that we can set up a time!  Time is sure is going fast!

We will continue to have parent volunteers during the morning for the next two weeks.  After Memorial Day, we will not have parent volunteers.  Thank you to all parents that have come to help out this year!  I greatly appreciate you!  If you are volunteering during the First Grade Finale practices and have not been contacted yet to confirm your times, please let me know!  Please assume that any of the times you have signed up for will be much appreciated and we would love your help.  Thank you!!
