We have A LOT of little fish in our group!  Our 1st swimming lesson was a fun success!  They sat for a short time to talk about pool and water safety with our instructor.  Then they were in the water, practicing floating, swimming, using a noodle and even had time for 5 minutes of free time at the end!  I'm sure they will sleep well tonight!  A big thank you to Sue, Kelly and Matt for helping out today.  If you feel jealous of missing out on this fun event, you STILL HAVE TIME to volunteer for our 2nd and final swim lesson on Thursday, March 13 from 1:00-2:30 (swim from 1:15-2:15).  Please let me know!

February 14th--Our Valentine's Party will be next Friday from 2:30 (if you are coming earlier to set up, please come between 2-2:15) to the end of the day.  All parents are welcome.  Just a reminder that your child can bring in Valentines during the week (Monday-Thursday) to distribute to their classmates before 8:25am (a good incentive to unpack their gear and get into the classroom quickly).

February 17th-21st--NO SCHOOL--winter break!

February 24th--We will be celebrating the 100th day of school with our other 1st grade friends!  We have fun activities planned in all three rooms to celebrate this big day.  Your child does NOT have to bring anything in with them for our day.  We will provide 100s of supplies!
